A03 Payroll Officer job based in Brisbane CBD. Short-term assignment within QLD State Government.
Your new company
A fast-paced and engaging QLD State Government department is looking to appoint an A03 Payroll Officer to join the team for a 2 month opportunity. Based in Brisbane CBD this department is located within walking distance of public transport.
Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include entering new employees into the system, calculating back-payments and over-payments, and processing weekly payroll. As well as this you will process staff reimbursements and reconciliations, establish correct award entitlements, as well as act as first point of contact for any payroll related queries from staff and management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum of three years experience in a full-function payroll position, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in liaising with stakeholders at senior management level. Experience using SAP is highly desirable however not essential.
