The Company
Our client is a designer advertising company that has experienced significant growth in the previous financial year. This role will focus on improving the transparency and accuracy of budgets and forecasts whilst maintaining a strong and informative relationship between the finance and operational teams of the organisation.
The Role
This role represents an excellent opportunity to work with an organisation that will offer continued professional development, and it will focus on the following areas:
- Management of the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounting process
- Leading 2 others in the finance team
- Providing in depth commentary on budget variances
- Partnering with non-finance stakeholders across the organisation
- Improving business processes for increased efficiency
This role will originally begin as a six-month contract and has an opportunity to turn permanent if the candidate fits the current business culture.
Your Profile
You will be a CPA/CA Qualified Accountant with experience in a senior management accounting role and ideally within the same or a similar industry. You will be able to lead a small team and have the characteristics to provide initiative and intuitive thinking surrounding business process improvement and efficiency. You will be confident in your communication with the ability to present to senior management and liaise with other non-finance stakeholders of the organisation.
This position will suit someone looking for longer term positions that wants the opportunity to add value in the long run.
