About the company
Join a large business services team within a 70 staff accounting firm. The firm specialises in business services, audit and insolvency and has won many awards in the past five years for outstanding client service as well as ‘accountant of the year’ awards.
About the role
You will join the 40 staff business services team as an intermediate accountant. You will work closely with the Senior Accountants to assist with compliance and will also get to sit in client meetings on a weekly basis.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Preparation of tax returns, BAS and financial statements for companies and their related entities;
- ‘Buddy’ with graduate accountants;
- Liaise with the Australian Tax Office on behalf of clients; and
- Attend client meetings with the Senior Accountants.
Skills required for the role
- Minimum 18 months experience business services;
- Excellent communication skills and the drive to complete your CA and progress to Senior Accountant;
- Experience preparing financial statements for companies; and
- Relevant degree qualification.
