A permanent full time Finance Manager Job based in a central Hobart location.

Your new role
This permanent full time job reports directly into the Business Services Manager, and will give you the opportunity to assist with key decisions at a senior level as a part of the leadership group. This position will see you manage, mentor, support and develop finance team members with responsibility for reviewing payroll, Accounting, Finance procedures, management various contracts, and also reviewing and improving cash management processes. Working collaboratively with other departments throughout the organisation, you’ll also be responsible for preparing draft budgets and monthly management reports, and ultimately be responsible for preparing the end of financial year Accounts. In addition to this, you’ll liaise directly with the Auditors, and be responsible for grant acquittals.

What you'll need to succeed
As the ideal applicant you’ll passionate about the community support sector, be CA/CPA qualified, with experience managing a small team in a medium to large sized organisation. You’ll have excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills. You’ll also possess strong IT ability, have clear and concise communication skills, and the ability to develop long and lasting internal stakeholder relationships. You’ll also hold a driver’s licence and be prepared to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable people Card. Experience with Sage 300, and Chris 21 will be an advantage but not essential.
