Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA) provides a vital service across Australia by offering the only specialist national perinatal mental health telephone counselling service, as well as reducing stigma around perinatal anxiety and depression, and providing education services to health professionals and the wider community.

A little about the role...
PANDA currently has a unique opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their North Fitzroy team as a Finance and Operations Manager. This is a 0.7 FTE position, with flexible hours and days.
Working closely with the CEO, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the financial, accounting and payroll functions of the organisation. This will include the development, management and review of the organisation's:
- Accounting, budgeting and financial systems;
- Payroll systems, policies and procedures; and
- Management of PANDA’s operations including IT and Telecommunications
- Administrative and project support to PANDA's Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.
This role manages one direct report, and is part of PANDA's management team. As such, you'll have an opportunity to contribute to the management team discussion.

PANDA is seeking degree qualified candidates with CA or CPA qualifications and demonstrated post-graduate accounting and reporting experience. This is a hands on role and as such, will require you to be the type of person who likes to be where the action is and always know what's going on in the areas of your responsibility.
Although this role oversees a direct report, prior leadership experience is not essential. You will however, aim to be an inspiring and collaborative manager with great people skills. An excellent communicator who is confident working with people from all different cultures and backgrounds will fit in well.
Due to the scope of PANDA's work, it's important you have a positive attitude, are open minded and empathetic. Additionally, you'll be flexible and able to adapt to change.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you'll be rewarded with an attractive base salary circa $90- $94,000 (pro rata) plus super and full charitable not for profit salary packaging. This will increase to a range of $94 - $98,000 (pro rata) in December
