The role
Our client is an Australian owned company that has been around for over 50 years. 
They are looking for a Credit Officer to join their team to start as a 3 month temporary assignment. This assignment is to be reviewed and will be made permanent based on performance. 

NOTE: Our client is open to candidates with 1 years experience in Credit.

Responsibilities 
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager your main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to;

• Looking after a ledger of key, high value accounts
• Following up on outstanding accounts
• Issuing credits, recharges & journals
• Handling queries
• Account reconciliations
• Allocating/receipting payments
• Ad hoc duties as may be required to assist the broader team

The ideal candidate
Our client is looking for a candidate with an experience in a similar Credit Officer position. Along with this and the right attitude to learning new things this candidate must have;

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to discuss problems with clients and determine solutions
• Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
• An ability to work under pressure and prioritise urgent work.  
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
