Our client is seeking for a Tax Manager or Senior Consultant with Japanese speaking skills to join their team in Sydney.

The key responsibilities in this position are:

• Work closely with global corporate clients to provide tax advisory
• Manage individual tax compliance programs
• Advise on cross border income taxes
• Liaise with various stakeholders including ATO , internal departments located globally with background in immigration and employment tax professionals
• Work on fringe benefits tax compliance.
• Provide advise on payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation guarantee, and WorkCover.

In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:

• Previous experience in a similar position in tax advisory or Australian individual income tax compliance and advisory
• Knowledge or experience in international tax agreements, shadow payroll services, compensation accumulation or employee share plans would also be advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
• Must have citizenship or PR
