Organisation:
Centrally located Federal Government Department.

The Role:
Working in the financial operations area of the CFO unit you will be stepping in to supervise the AP team for this short-term contract.  This will be a labour hire contract that will run for 6 months initially.  You must have demonstrated experience of leading an accounts processing team from customer focused environment in the past.

This role is at the APS5 level and you operate as the escalation point for the other team members.  The AP team are a hard-working and dedicated set of staff that operate well as a unit.  This contract is for an immediate start.  

There is the potential for it to extend for another 3 months and at the APS5 level you are still very much hands-on, processing invoices as well as leading the team.

Your Skills and Experience:
You must be an Australian Citizen and available to start immediately.  You also need to be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and supervise a small team, preferably from an AP environment in the Federal Government.  Strong communication skills, attention to detail and knowledge of the PGPA act will also put you in strong contention for this role.

This role is for an immediate start.
