The Department:
Federal Government Department.

The Role:
We are recruiting APS4 and APS5 roles that will run for 6 months on either a labour hire or non-ongoing basis. You will be working in the financial accounting team providing technical and transactional accounting support in the preparation of their EOM and EOFY Departmental financial statements. 

Your role will assist with the management of the Departmental GL, processing of journals and EOM processes, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations and other ad hoc reporting. 

The roles will be offered as a contract or non-ongoing for an immediate start through to the end of the calendar year. 

Your Skills and Experience:
You are an experienced finance officer with financial accounting experience from a Government environment.  This is a technical and transactional accounting role, you must be able to demonstrate your technical accounting capability and an understanding of the PGPA Act. 

You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role.
