Description
Reporting to the CFO your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Inventory re-costing and WIP reconciliation
- Full ownership of month end close processes including journal preparation and processing, reconciliations including intercompany reconciliations and journals
- Fixed Assets maintenance
- Sales reporting
- Support in the preparation of statutory financial & management statements as required including BAS and FBT, as well as NZ Statistic returns
- Assist with audits and dealing with external auditors
- Managing AP, AR and Payroll team functions
- Completion of ad hoc projects as required
Profile
The successful applicant will be degree qualified or near qualified with at least 5 years’ experience.
- Inventory costing and WIP experience highly regarded
- Solid reporting skills a must as well as intermediate excel skills (including power pivots)
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles with experience in tax compliance
- Excellent communication skills with differing levels of management
- Experience managing a small team will be advantageous
