Treasury Accountant job, 3 month contract, $45-$55 per hour plus super
Your new company
This high profile Government department require an experienced Treasury Accountant to assist the Treasury team for an initial period of 3 months.
Your new role
Playing a key role in the treasury team, this position will require you to influence the organisations efficiency and profitability from a treasury perspective. Your role will be focused on cash flow modelling, banking and tax. You will also be involved with determining hedging strategies, cash management and dealing with raising capital funding, banking and trade finance queries.
What you'll need to succeed
As a CA or CPA qualified accountant you will have proven treasury accounting experience in a medium to large sized organisation. Experience of hedge accounting, using financial instruments and the ability to interpret complex financial information will be essential.
What you'll get in return
This role will be paying $50 per hour plus, for an initial period of 3 months with a very strong opportunity of being made permanent.
