An industry leading fund manager is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Officer on a part-time permanent basis into their finance team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be required to lead and manage the entire AR/AP function for the business. The position has come about through internal promotions and will offer the candidate significant avenues for movement and growth within the company. The role is suitable for a candidate with strong a AR background who has experience using the system "MYOB" and wants to further their career at a boutique organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective ownership of the accounts payable and account receivable function.
• Manage, review and perform routine functions related to Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and general accounting duties including preparation and processing of invoices, payments, payment advices, bank reconciliation's, petty cash reconciliation's, claims payment management and preparing related documentation and correspondence.
• Make journal or data entries and extract statistical data and reports from records for analysis.
• Assist with month end accounting and reconciliation procedures and with the production of weekly, fortnightly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
• Working with other teams to provide information on a timely manner
• Ad-hoc tasks to support the Finance team as required.

Key Requirements

• Significant experience within a AP/AR team
• Excellent Excel skills
• MYOB system experience is essential
• Ability to communicate and work in a team
