About the role
CHC is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Finance and Commercial Analyst to be a part of their Finance and Analysis Team based in the Perth Head Office. This is a key role working with both local and head office finance and operational resources, supporting the delivery of financial projections and decision activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working with operations, preparing inputs & supporting analysis for the re-forecasts, annual budget & 3 year plan
- Maintaining & submitting the fortnightly cash flow forecast model, including inputting & analyzing as required.
- Holding primary responsibility for all month-end, quarter end & year end analysis & reporting, including preparation of reports for HQ submission
- Investigating material variances upon analysis of month end, quarter end & year end results
- Assisting Operations in understanding performance & identifying drivers to improve results
- Developing financial models & decision support activities
- Assisting with commercial bids & tender support
- Assisting with labour cost financial analysis
Skills and experience
- Relevant Degree qualifications with CA and/or CPA certified
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial modelling and analysis with an accounting or audit industry experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills & ability to leverage technology
- Excellent systems skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience is working in a global matric environment is preferred but not essential
- Previous work experience in the aviation or transportation industry is preferred but not essential
- Team player with a flexible approach to a global and dynamic environment
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, both internal & external
