Automotive Industry - Mechanical Workshop and Car Sales - Female Owned and Operated!

Our business is growing fast and our bookkeeper of 3 years has relocated to be with her mum.

General Duties:

• Ensure all invoices are properly authorised
• Allocate Invoices/Receipts to the Bank Reconciliation utilising correct GL Codes
• Reconcile Statements to Invoices Monthly and Provide Reports to Owners
• Generate a monthly P & L and Balance Sheet for the Owners
• Run weekly Payroll and ABA Files for Payables (Send to Owners for payment)
• Liaise with Bookkeeper /Accountant to Lodge BAS
• Weekly EFTPOS and Till Management
• Journal preparation and BAS preparation (Lodgement if Licensed)
• Chase outstanding accounts and monies (particularly for car rentals)
• We like our accounts to be up to date, so that on any given week we can know if we are making a profit or loss and so we lodge BAS and Annual Returns very quickly
• Filing and other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Our ideal candidate has a minimum 5 years experience 
• Cert IV in Bookkeeping or above is desirable
• Xero Experienced or Certified – advanced user level
• Previous car yard/mechanical experience advantageous
• Experience with high volume data entry required.
