We are seeking a full-time Accounts Administrator to join our Upper North Shore office. The role of the Accounts Administrator has the following Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounting:

  • Handling full set of accounts includes AP, AR, bank/credit card entries, petty cash reimbursement, GJ, and reconciliation
  • Reconciling debtor and creditor accounts and do Creditor Control
  • Prepare weekly AP payment list, cash flow analysis, and online banking
  • Process payroll, and maintain financial and payroll records
  • Administer superannuation and prepares superannuation payments
  • Prepare monthly statement such as Profit & Loss Statement
  • Prepares BAS quarterly, and IAS monthly, ready for lodgement
  • Produce Payment Summary /EMPDUPE File at the EOFY
  • Assist external accountant with Income Tax Return and Annual Financial Report.

Administration:

  • Deal with correspondence, and complete all kind of business forms for Companies
  • Maintaining effective records & managing databases
  • Sort and distribute daily incoming mail and process outgoing mail
  • Screens mail for CEO and makes attempt at resolving any issues
  • Greeting clients and answering queries on phone
  • Liaise with professionals, regulators, suppliers in relation to corporate matters.

Shareholders:

  • Maintain share registers and ensure retention of documents and records
  • Manage share transfer and issuance
  • Prepare and attend to signing of agreement
  • To communicate with shareholders enquiries
  • Monitor changes in share ownership of the company

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following prerequisites, which are important for achieving success on this job:

Qualification:

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce, or
  • other related subjects with accounting training courses

Experience:

  • Outstanding knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • A minimum of 3 years general accounting and administration experience

Skills:

  • Good experience in MYOB is a must, prefer online but not necessary
  • Good computer proficiency includes Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
