As this company prepares for significant expansion both within Australia, and overseas, it is now the time to recruit an experienced – and exceptional – CFO. The CFO will assist and drive the financial requirements for the growth and development of the business entities.
The company has sites across the country and in New Zealand engaging in Civil Construction, Engineering and Pipeline services with interests in other complimentary sectors.
As the leader of the Financial/Accounting team, your duties will include :
- Reviewing all financial and management systems and advising any required updates
- Coordinate the preparation of all financial reports and statements
- Providing strategic advice and managing the implementation of decisions
- Provide management leadership and support to the Finance Team
- Budget analysis to ensure financial stability of the company
- Forecasting of future returns, assets, costs etc
- Reviewing and analysis of business ventures
- Ensuring all compliance requirements are met
- Ensuring all tax and corporate obligations are met
This is a “hands on” role and not suited to someone who is not wanting to be a participating member of the Finance team.
The company is in a state of “controlled expansion” and things are happening quickly, so it is essential that the person coming into this integral role has, not only, the skills and technical experience but the right attitude and approach.
If you possess a minimum of 10 years current experience, are degree qualified with CPA or CA, experience in similar industry sectors, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, a proven track record of professionalism and integrity and a desire to “own” a role that will challenge and reward you – this may be the first day of an exciting employment adventure.
