Siem Offshore operates all over the world and provides a wide range of services from its vessels, equipment and experienced onshore and offshore personnel. Our main focus is on health, safety, environment and quality.
We are currently looking for a qualified Accountant to join our small Perth based team and complete the following tasks:
- Checking, coding and inputting invoices into the system
- Maintenance of the general ledger
- Responding to supplier invoices queries, collating and processing payment runs
- Issue customer invoices and applying receipts
- Month end closing
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations and creditors reconciliations
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Travel card reconciliations
- GST and tax compliance matters, PAYG, BAS, FBT and payroll tax filing
- Office payroll and reimbursement
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills and attributes:
- Degree qualified in Accounting
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- 2-3 years of working experience post degree qualified
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate to a diverse range of people
- Excellent organization, planning and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Effective team skills and ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Most importantly... a good sense of humour!
