Your new company
This high profile Government department is now seeking to recruit a Senior Technical Accountant to provide technical accounting advice on complex transactions and to develop high level policy in relation to emerging issues.
Your new role
In this role you will primarily be focusing on providing accurate IFRS accounting advice to both internal and external stakeholders and provide clarification and interpretation of accounting policy and accounting standards. You will also be required to compose training materials and delivering training to other groups across the organisation.
As the successful candidate you will have sound knowledge on Australian Accounting Standards and have the ability to research and analyse complex financial reporting matters coupled with the ability to handle large volumes of work.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role you will ideally come from a Big 4 or Chartered environment, be CA/CPA qualified candidate and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
What you'll get in return
This role is a paying $65-$70 per hour plus super
