The Company
This international firm (independently operated and managed) provides the full accounting services to clients, including Audit, Superannuation, Business Services, bookkeeping and investment.
Staff have long tenure, some having worked up from the Graduate level, reflecting the fact that staff are valued and the firm nurtures a positive culture.
The Role
Working under 2 partners and in a team of 4 other accountants, the role will involve some mentoring of junior staff and provide fast career progression opportunities.
Duties:
- Preparation of Income Tax Returns & Financial Statements for all types of entities
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
- Research – tax and business advisory
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders
- Inspire client loyalty through the end to end management and delivery of quality tax compliance and consulting advice across a range of tax matters
- Coach and develop others within the team to drive a positive culture that allows our people to grow
Skills & Experience
The following requirements are necessary in order to be considered:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous experience using MYOB AE
- Exceptional interpersonal skills- both written & verbal
