The payroll officer is responsible for coordination of high quality centralised payroll, superannuation and administrative services for the Navitas Group.
You will be working within a payroll team that supports our matrix-based organisation on a local and global scale, collaborating with internal business partners such as HR and finance.
The ideal candidate we seek will ideally have the following:
- Relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience in end to end payroll
- Current knowledge of superannuation legislation requirements a must
- Experience in large multi-entity payrolls
- Excellent communication skills with ability to answer employee queries with a dedicated customer service approach
- Ability to interpret awards/EBAs
- Sound understanding of general ledger and reconciliation experience
- Ability to collaborate, or work autonomously to achieve business outcomes
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills e.g. ability to perform V Lookups and basic formulas
- A positive outlook with a good sense of humour
- Chris 21 experience highly desirable, but not essential
