This role of Administration Accounts Assistant within the Finance department is an important role for the business. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role will have the sole responsibility of the review and reconciliation of the Corporate travel and expense management process via SAP Concur. The role will also assist with the processing of sundry accounts payable invoices as required.
  
This position will suit an experienced accounts assistant with knowledge in travel and expense spend management and a desire to continually improve current processes and a focus on automation. 
  
Duties include:
  • Reconciliation of corporate credit card spend via Expense Management Tool, Concur
  • Review of high volume, high complexity travel and expense transactions to ensure appropriate coding and allocation within the GL ledger
  • Timely follow up of outstanding expense claims within the business
  • Maintain user set up, user accounts and transaction mapping within the Concur
  • Key contact in the business for all Corporate credit card related enquiries
  • General ledger coding, batching and processing of invoices in an accurate and timely manner
  • Supplier account reconciliations
  • Prepare relevant month end and year end reconciliations reports
  • Assist with other Ad hoc duties where required
The successful applicants will possess:
  • Prior experience in an Accounts Assistant role in a retail environment preferred
  • Experience with SAP Concur is highly desirable
  • Tech savvy who demonstrates a desire and ability to utilise system automation to improve current processes
  • Methodical and strong organisation skills and time management abilities
  • Experience with general ledger accounting systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on continued process improvement and increased efficiencies
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work towards company timetables and deliver on deadlines
  • Excellent accuracy & efficiency
  • The ability to work with & contribute to a great team
  • Intermediate Microsoft (word & excel) knowledge skills
  • Innovative and driven
