An exciting opportunity has become available for Part Time Finance Administrator to join our friendly and outgoing Finance team in our Fortitude Valley office reporting to our Commercial Finance Manager.

This role is part time, three days per week and preferably Wednesday to Friday weekly.

The position will revolve around providing commercial support to project managers, assisting in the delivery of the commercial aspect of projects, undertaking reconciliations and providing back up support to the Finance team. The role will offer variety for the candidate with tasks ranging from recording daily banking, processing and maintaining project related information and debtor invoicing.  

Some of your duties will include recording daily banking, processing creditor payments, month-end financial performance reporting, reconciliations, project forecasting and contracts administration.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, conscientious individual who takes pride in their work, shows attention to detail and enjoys being part of a dynamic team.

We are seeking applicants who have:

A business/commerce degree (essential)

A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role (essential)

Strong financial understanding

Excellent excel skills

A willingness to be hands-on

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Flexible and adaptable in work style

Strong team skills

The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads
