Our client is located right in the heart of Toowoomba and they are currently seeking an ambitious Intermediate Accountant with 2yrs + experience in Tax and Business Services.

The right candidate will be working within a structured team which will also offer client interaction and mentoring of junior staff with career growth opportunities in the future.  

The role will encompass working with clients across SME's, the mining sector, developers and professionals to name but a few.  So if you are an intermediate looking for your next career move then this opportunity currently exists with a highly reputable practice offering excellent long term career prospects.

The Role

Your core responsibilities in this position will include:

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for all entities across a diverse industry base
• BAS/FBT preparation
• Day-to-day contact with clients
• Training and mentoring provided
• Dealing with large multi entity clients

Skills & Experience Required

• Australian accounting firm experience - a minimum of 2 years' solid business services and tax experience is necessary
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Solid academic achievements - degree minimum 
• Ability to work within a flexible team environment
