We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Superannuation Compliance Accountant to join our growing Superannuation Services Team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of Self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) tax returns and financial statements
  • Preparation of SMSF audit file for, and liaise with, external SMSF auditors;
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external training materials on superannuation
  • Implementation of advice and client service
  • Work together with our Business Advisory, Wealth Advisory, and Tax Services Teams
  • General administrative duties

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Bachelor Degree (Business, Economics or equivalent) majoring in Accounting
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Experience in a Business Advisory or Superannuation Compliance division of a CA firm
  • Experience with: Class Super, APS, MYOB, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Desire to develop specialist skills in Superannuation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be highly motivated
  • Good organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • An ability to relate to a broad cross section of people
  • Team player who is also able to work autonomously
