As the exclusive developer of Australia's most iconic residential project, the company has rich development experience across the world in Australia, China, Canada, South Korea and Malaysia, specializing in high-end residential, cultural tourism and etc. The company has already set a long-term development strategy in Sydney and Melbourne.  

 

About the Role

Currently an opportunity for a junior accountant on a major residential build up to hundreds of millions has become available. The role will be Sydney based. You will get exposure across full project life-cycle and put your stamp on this landmark project. You will see the project through all phases and provide support in the following areas:

  • Manage all month-end processes including the preparation of any required journal adjustments and analysis of the result for completeness and accuracy;
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts and maintain the General Ledger for multiple group entities;
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Profit & Loss, including review of variances to budget and prior year;
  • Assist in preparing quarterly BAS, GST, payroll tax, annual FBT and year-end audit;
  • Manage all aspects of payment functions, such as multiple currency transactions, bank account validations, process all supplier payments;
  • Assist in preparing of annual budgets & forecasts and ongoing monitoring and communications of actual expenses vs budget expenses on a monthly basis;
  • Other adhoc financial reporting tasks as required.

Experience/ Background 

  • Master degree in Accounting
  • Ability to work to strict time constraints and meet conflicting deadlines combined with a proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Exposure to an MYOB system
  • Advanced level skills in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Australian Residence/ Valid working visa
  • Proficient in both English & Chinese
