About the Role:

A genuine part-time opportunity is now available for a professional, reliable, capable and friendly EXPERIENCED Office Administrator with EXCEPTIONAL people management and organisational skills. The role provides first point of contact response as well as all-round general administration and PA support to the Accountants and Directors. This includes scheduling appointments, diary and calendar management, monitoring various checklists and WIP lists (BAS/IAS, ITR lodgement deadlines), through to processing fees, ASIC company statements, and standard corporate compliance changes (change of address, office holders, transfer of shares), along with ATO and ASIC Lodgements and communication, client correspondence, banking & invoicing and debtor management.

 

Your previous experience within a professional accounting firm or banking institution will be HIGHLY REGARDED – along with your ability to learn tasks quickly, provide high level customer service, attention to detail and proactive approach.

Your skills and experience:

  • Min 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a customer focused administration role where record keeping and accuracy were essential (with a stable track record).
  • Previous experience within a Professional Accounting Firm or Banking Institution will be HIGHLY REGARDED.
  • Strong customer service skills, ethical standards and sense of loyalty - MATURITY.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to use common sense and initiative.
  • Ability to provide support to a team of professionals and to prioritise effectively.
  • Understanding of the importance of deadlines and ability to meet them accordingly.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook.
  • Experience with the Sage Handisoft Suite of applications will be HIGHLY REGARDED.
  • Experience with dealing online with ASIC, ATO, CAS and BankLink will be advantageous.
  • High level personal presentation.
  • Excellent team and big picture focus.

 

What’s on Offer:

  • Genuine Part-time role working 25hrs/ week (9:00am to 2:30pm Monday – Friday) *Flexible for the right candidate.

  • A base salary of $50K-$55K Pro Rata (ie approx $32K-$36K) plus Superannuation will be offered dependant on experience and qualifications.
