About the role
This position operates within a highly successful team of accounting professionals who provide high quality services to a broad portfolio of external clients with an emphasis on SMEs, complex family groups with exposure to SMSF. With excellent training and support from senior staff, you will apply your accounting skills in a professional services context and become a trusted advisor to our clients through your commitment to the values that distinguish our firm and service from others in the industry.
About the person
We are seeking a motivated professional services accountant with 3+ years of business services experience gained in a professional services environment. You will be part way through your CA qualification with a genuine interest to progress your career in business services. Of great importance is a client focused and flexible approach, clear and concise verbal and written communication, excellent attention to detail, effective time management skills with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate your problem solving skills. There is a need for you to be a proactive, improvement orientated person, ideally someone who is a natural problem solver and self-starter.
You will have experience in the preparation of financial statements and all types of tax returns, with knowledge of Xero, MYOB and other accounting software an advantage. The opportunity for exposure to advisory work will be offered to candidates keen to progress their skills in this area. This role will be best suited to a focused and enthusiastic person who embraces opportunity and is driven by high standards to achieve excellence.
