About the business

  Kartaway, a leader in its industry, is seeking an accounts receivable clerk to join our Head Office team located in Brunswick East.We are looking for an organised, confident and well-presented individual who can adapt and develop in a busy and varied role.

 

About the role

Duties include;

  • Receiving and processing debtor, COD and recycling monies
  • Ensure that all monies owed are received in a timely manner
  • Maintaining debtor’s ledger ensuring all information is accurate and up to date at the close of each day
  • Process credit applications
  • Daily deposit of cash and cheque receipts
  • Liaising with customers regarding overdue amounts, invoicing, payment inquiries and discrepancies;
  • Assist in general administrative functions
  • Daily collection, distribution and dispatching of mail
  • Provide reports as requested by Management when required;
  • Liaise with other accounts staff nationally
  • Credit control in conjunction with the CFO
  • Printing and distribution of customer invoices and statements
  • Raising and reconciling credit notes
  • Processing credit card payments

 Skills and experience

  • Minimum of two years accounts receivable experience;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Time management skills;
  • Team player and the ability to work autonomously;
  • Ability to follow instructions by management accurately and produce results within set time frames;

What you will bring to the role

  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Computer Literacy;
  • Intermediate Excel skills
