About the role 
Our client is an industry-leading Logistics/Supply Chain organisation delivering freight services to it's clients across various industries. The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for assisting various Account Managers and other internal and external stakeholders in analysing clients' freight and operational activity, and providing cost-effective recommendations.

Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Pricing and benchmark analysis on client freight activity
• Recommend cost reduction alternatives
• Liaise and carry out negotiations with third party affiliations
• Drive process improvement 
• Optimisation analysis
• Special project work

The successful applicant will have

• Bachelors degree in Commerce or Supply Chain 
• Excellent step for a graduate analyst looking to take their next step
• Prior logistics and/or supply chain management industry experience ideal
• Advanced financial modelling skills
• Advanced data analytics and forecasting skills
• Ability to work autnomously
• Exceptional communication skills
