Daley and Co are now hiring for a position within our Wollongong office. We invite enquiries from experienced book keeping support professionals who enjoy a variety of work, have a knack for problem solving and an interest and aptitude for working with numbers. This is a full-time role however flexibility will be considered in terms of part time days and hours.

Our bookkeepers support our Partners, Directors and Managers in all bookkeeping and administrative tasks. Tasks will include
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Preparation of financial accounts, Profit & loss and Balance Sheet
- Monthly/Quarterly BAS preparations
- Preparation of monthly management reporting
- Payroll, including superannuation, payroll tax and workers compensation
- General administrative duties as required
Essential Criteria
The successful applicant will possess:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including (written & oral) and demonstrated ability to liaise with a wide range of people including regulatory bodies like the ATO.
- Certificate III in Book Keeping OR Cert IV in Business administration AND a minimum of 2 Years' experience in an administrative, book keeping or assistant accountant role
- High level of experience using MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero or other accounting software
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative, be proactive and highly developed organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and to multi task and manage work demands
- Strong attention to detail for ensuring accuracy of reports and documents
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in working within Private Practice, such as accounting or legal firms would be an advantage.
