Our client is seeking to hire an experienced Junior Financial Accountant to assist their finance team with the preparation of assigned balance sheet reconciliations, month end close processes and other financial administrative tasks.

Description

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Preparation of assigned balance sheet reconciliations

• Participation in the month end close process

• Participation in the preparation of corporate tax return filings

• Maintenance of the fixed asset register

• Assist with budgets and forecasts

• General financial administration tasks

• Ad-hoc duties assigned by senior management

Profile

The successful candidate must have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role

• Media experience would be advantageous

• Proficient in Excel

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment

• The ability to work unsupervised and independently

• CA, CPA or in the process of completion

• Less than 2 weeks’ notice period at current place of employment or immediate start
