A global brand with their headquarters in the CBD are looking for a Financial Controller.
Your new company
A global company who are leaders within their field and an easily recognisable brand. They are known for their cutting edge technology and high end products. Located in the CBD close to all transport links and this role comes with a highly sought after parking space. This is a multinational company with their APAC headquarters in China.
Your new role
This role will mostly be responsible for reporting, but will also assist with strategic planning and will have 5 direct reports. Main duties will include:
- Statutory Consolidated Financial statements for the Group, adhering to local standards.
- Tax and treasury management for the group.
- Reporting on a monthly basis as well as managing flash reporting and actual vs forecast.
- Leading the processes aimed at defining long term strategic planning
- Defining deliverables, sharing targets and setting methodology
- Highlight and report on variances vs targets
- Monitor business trends for the region and look into the performance of singe business units.
- Variance Analysis and making suggestions for the most suitable actions moving forwards.
- Team management
What you'll need to succeed
- This role will suit someone who is hands on and has had proven success in a similar role, ideally from FMCG or a product based company.
- 3- 5 years of experience post qualification
- CA/CPA or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and business partnering.
- Excellent people management skills
