About our company

We are an integrated property company with interests in finance, real estate and development. We have been involved in the development, sales and management of more than 30 residential communities across SEQ over the past 13 years. Located on the Gold Coast, and working with agents and clients across Australia and Asia, we are searching for an experienced Accounts Manager for our building and construction division, FRD Homes.

About this exciting role

You will work alongside the FRD Group CFO and be responsible for the entire accounts process, including accounts receivable and payable. This is a hands on role where you work alongside other key roles within our property development and building divisions, as well as liaising with trades, contractors and suppliers.

General responsibilities include

  • Reconciliation of banking and accounts
  • Preparation and reporting of BAS
  • Preparation, reporting and payment of payroll
  • Liaison and correspondence with trades, sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Issuing and collection of construction progress claims
  • Data entry and processing of accounts receivable
  • Data entry and processing of accounts payable
  • End of month reconciliation and reporting to the CFO

Must have skills and experience include

  • You should be an accounts allrounder
  • You would ideally have experience with DataBuild and Onsite software
  • You should have strong communications and relationship management skills
  • You should be able to manage your time and prioritise tasks well
  • You will have reporting experience
  • You will have strong computer skills
