The Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and dynamic Assistant Accountant to join one of Robert Half’s best clients based in Melbourne’s CBD. The Assistant Accountant role joins a friendly and sociable Finance team. You’ll be part of a fun culture working in a high performing close knit Finance Team and reporting into the Finance Manager.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the day to day duties of the Assistant Accountant include:
- Assisting in month end reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with cash flow statements, budgeting & forecasting
- Tax requirements such as Payroll Tax, FBT and BAS
- Reconciliation of balance sheets
- Assisting with accounts payable processing
- Maintain customer focus and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times
- Ad hoc tasks as required

You will have excellent attention to detail, be able to adapt to new ways of working and not be afraid to use initiative to resolve queries. You will be outgoing and enthusiastic and enjoy working in a fast paced and varied environment.
