About the Role
This is an accounts payable/general admin/payroll position assisting our Payroll Manager in daily accounting activities such as maintaining suppliers and subcontractor accounts, coding and checking supplier’s invoices, entering approved invoices on accounting software (MYOB), monthly reconciliation, paying bills, payroll support and data entry and other administrative tasks to support the Payroll Manager.
Work hours
We require a part time person to work full days on Monday and Tuesdays, or Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between school hours. Some flexibility is possible and it will require working as relief when the Payroll Manager takes leave.
Skills and Experience
We require that you have extensive experience with MYOB.
The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using Excel, Word and Outlook, be fluent in English and have good verbal and written communication skills.
They will also show particular attention to detail and be honest, reliable, hardworking, positive and flexible. Ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and be self-motivated are essential.
