This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a minimum of 2 years experience in transactional accounts and administration roles to get into an Accounts Receivable position, working for a large organisation.
An individual who is able to work as part of a large team and who has basic understanding of Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable processes would be suitable for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Issuing invoices, credit notes and account statements
- Data entry of accounts receivable invoices
- Setting up new customer/supplier records
- Matching and batching invoices
- Allocating incoming payments to ledger
- Assisting with credit control when required
- Resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
- Negotiating payment plans for over due invoices
- Following up on workers compensation claims
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Ability to work as part of a team and stay on top of individual deadlines
- Accuracy with data entry of invoices
- Exceptional verbal communication skills required
