About The Role:

We are looking for someone who will be passionate about the integral role they play  in the business. You will be really keen to build on your current knowledge and experience, as well as learn new skills. You need to have an extremely high attention to detail and accuracy, passionate about figures, systems, enjoy solving challenges and assisting others.

We are seeking applications from experienced Bookkeepers & Administrators who have the ability to work autonomously, have the flexibility to be able to work full time to cover leave as required (aprox 4 weeks per year), can work hand in hand with another team member in the same role, and can also work toward the improvement of services and processes across our business.

The role is a mixture of traditional bookkeeping, payables/receivables, cashflow management, management reporting, general office duties and HR.

Hours of work will be over 3 days with approximately 18 hours total per week. You will report directly to our Director.

This is a part-time role and it is highly unlikely it would ever evolve to be full time. Having two committed part time employees who will take ownership of this position will allow for redundancy in leave situations and enable backup and support for you both.

While this position is 3 days per week you must have the flexibility to work extra days when called upon to cover sick leave and holidays when applicable.

To be considered you must have demonstrable experience with the following Skills and experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • proficiency in Xero
  • experience with a payment gateway or internet payment system
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • high attention to detail
  • have some understanding of websites and internet development
  • be able to efficiently learn customised software applications
  • highly proficient in working within a cloud ⁄ internet based environment (web browser, software, email, etc)
  • have an understanding of Google Apps and their applications
  • an ability to multitask and be flexible
  • an understanding of franchises
  • be proficient in customer service
  • experience in multi-currency transactions and
  • be able to act honestly and with integrity at all times.
