Description
Reporting to the Credit Manager, your duties will include but won't be limited to:
- Develop and enhance relationships on a pro-active basis with internal and external customers.
- Apply collection procedures within company guidelines.
- Initiate and coordinate collection activity with branch network.
- Apply cash receipts and action unallocated cash items on a daily basis.
- Reconcile accounts to current month.
- Authorise release of orders & stop supply function within company guidelines.
- Monitor credit limits and recommend changes based on customer’s risk profile.
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested
Profile
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a Credit or Collections position. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for the full-function duties of their own credit ledger and be measured via a number of performance indicators including collection results and payment allocations. The ability to work cohesively as part of a wider team environment is also essential for this role.
