Your new company
This organisation is based in the Sydney CBD. Due to a period of annual leave a 2 month position has become available within the finance team for an Accounts Payable Officer. You will be placed in a fast paced environment for a leading national service provider that recognises hard work and offers a diverse client portfolio.
Your new role
This is an Accounts Payable role where you will be responsible for the following duties;
- Manage end to end Accounts Payable function over multiple entities
- Processing high volumes of invoices received from suppliers each day
- Handling complex invoices and ensuring all details are correct
- Weekly and Daily EFT, Cheque & manual payment runs
- Credit card reconciliations
- Assist with ad-hoc duties in the financial team
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to understand all Accounts Payable functions. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment with previous experience in a similar role. A high attention to detail and excellent time management skills are essential. Expertise with Ellipse is highly desirable while experience with any large ERP systems to be looked upon favourably. Additionally, a high level of written and oral communication skills and an intermediate proficiency in Excel is required.
