About the role
Based at our Corporate Head Office in Nunawading and working within the Commercial Department, ABG is looking for a Financial Analyst who will be accountable for the financial, management and analytical reporting for part of our retail business. This role will have exposure to our brands: Autobarn, Autopro, Midas and ABS.
This is an opportunity that will allow you to flex your technical skills while developing stakeholder management experience by liaising with internal management, our retail operations teams, external franchisees and our suppliers.
Core functions of the role include month end financial consolidation and management reporting, management of various financial models, process improvement initiatives as well as special projects within the broader Commercial team.

About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Business degree majoring in Accounting or other relevant major with an accounting minor
- CA or CPA qualified, part qualified or willing to study
- Strong commercial skills including budgeting and cost management
- Ability to understand financial concepts (NPV, EBIT, etc) and reports
- Customer centric approach with the ability to understand needs and make decisions to meet customer expectations.
- Ability to influence and obtain engagement to deliver strategies and plans
