An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join an industry leading global organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity that will develop your career by utilising your experience to the receivables function as well as support the full cycle of accounts and manage the debtor life cycle.

Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager, this contract position is requiring an immediate start. The successful candidate will be proactive, inquisitive and have excellent communication skills demonstrating enthusiasm and drive to ensure productivity.

The Accounts Receivable Officer will have exposure to high volume workloads, deliver a high standard of customer service and have worked in a large organisation with complex invoicing structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
• Assisting the team leader with the debtor side of the working capital requirements to collect debts on a timely basis and minimise the risk of uncollectible debt
• Maintenance of the receivables ledger
• First line for all account queries

Personal Profile:

• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
• 3+ years experience in an accounts/credit function
• Experience using large ERP Systems; JDE, ORACLE or SAP
• Ability to work with high volumes and prioritise workloads
