About Us
We are a boutique two partner public accounting practice, established on the Gold Coast for 38 years. We specialize in providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services to small to medium business in a variety of industries.
Your role
This requires processing of client records and preparation of BAS; assisting clients with set-up of software and entry of transactions when clients require assistance, including closing entries at end of year; and entry of self managed super funds into BGL if capable. You may also draft financial statements and tax returns for all entities.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need solid practical experience in a public accounting office, around 3 to 5 years at a minimum. You may have tertiary qualifications however this is not essential, experience and common sense definitely is! Use of software programs including MYOB AE, BGL, and online systems including MYOB and Xero (any or all!) preferred.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills because you will liaise with clients, excellent attention to detail, have a great work ethic and will be happy to work in an office where the workload is shared during busy periods.
