Bookkeeper

The core responsibility of the Bookkeeper is the provision of professional and competent book-keeping services. The Regional Accountant coordinates the accounting and financial reporting functions of the areas. The bookkeeper assists in this regard. We are currently recruiting for an experienced bookkeeper who can provide financial expertise to the business, and help grow the financial return to Anglicare Victoria.

To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:

  1. Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in operating systems for accounts payable, receivable, petty cash and banking
  2. Formal bookkeeping qualification 
  3. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
  4. Strong client-service orientation with a commitment to quality and responsiveness
  5. Well-developed organisational and time management skills, particularly the ability to meet set time frames

If you are experienced in accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, budgeting and financial reporting, but only want to work part time, then this is the position for you.

Please Note: It is mandatory for the successful applicant to hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
