The marketing, trading and risk division of Queensland Sugar Limited (QSL) is seeking to appoint a Trading Analyst to join their busy and productive team. 
Reporting to the Executive Manager, Marketing & Risk key deliverables will include;

• Assisting with detailed trading and risk analysis
• Assisting the marketing and trading teams with a broad array of requirements including analysis of market data & supporting shipping activities
• Assisting the treasury team with reporting, managing pricing updates, market and currency risk
• Assisting with preparation of board and committee reports and customer presentations, including succinct market summaries
• Attending customer briefings.

Offering broad exposure to the commercial activities within this commodity, currency and liquidity risk environment we are seeking a tertiary qualified professional or one currently completing qualifications within economics, finance, business, commerce or law. Exposure to Bloomberg or  Reuters and experience with financial instruments or derivatives would be an advantage however not essential, moreover, a clear aptitude for learning coupled with a high-level of numeric accuracy, attention to detail and composure under pressure is highly sort after.
