Your new company
A recent resignation within a key government department has created a rare opportunity for a suitably qualified Aurion Payroll Systems Administrator. This is a rare opportunity to take on a participative role in a small team where effort is acknowledged and rewarded.

Your new role
Our client is looking for someone with demonstrated experience implementing system changes in Aurion to streamline payroll processing and reporting as well as assisting with processing payroll, maintaining an employee database and calculating leave, entitlements and over-time. You will also provide technical support and advice in regards as salary, wage payments, deductions, and worker’s compensation. Although a technical role, this is a job for a ‘people-person’: You will be using your interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to develop relationships with personnel in and outside the agency and manage a diverse and dedicated team. You also need to be deadline-oriented and adaptable in your responses to this dynamic environment.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need a background in systems administration, HR reporting/metrics and ideally a public sector payroll processing understanding. You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline, NV1 or NV2) personnel security clearance.
