The Company

Our client is part of a vast international business network with their Head Office based in Sydney. They have very healthy margins and are close to a monopoly on the services that they offer.

A recent change has seen the opportunity for an up and coming Finance Business Partner to join the business, reporting directly into the impressive Head of Commercial Finance.

The Role

Reporting into the experienced Head of Commercial Finance directly and working intimately with divisional Senior Managers, GM’s and the Group Senior Leadership Team, the responsibility of this position is to deliver Budgeting, Forecasting, Planning and Analysis. The role will council and add value to the operations and commercial teams and influence them in driving the business forward whilst maintaining a strong relationship with Group Finance.

The position is autonomous with a large degree of control. You will manage your own improvement projects, develop new processes and mentor and develop staff around you. The position currently has no direct reports but there is scope for this in the future with their large finance team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Business partnering with the Divisional GM and Operations Managers
• Preparation of planning and forecasting from development through to execution
• Prepare and present the 3-year plan, quarterly forecasting and rolling forecasts
• KPI Analysis across ANZ
• Leading the budgeting process
• Divisional analysis, recommendations and trends
• Review and improve existing processes

Your Profile

Experience within a fast-paced firm within FP&A, Management Accounting/Analysis or Business Partnering or similar will make you stand out for this role.

The ideal candidate will come from a high achieving background with a CA/CPA Qualification and high UAI equivalent.

Unfortunately, we aren’t looking for candidates from a Financial Accounting/Reporting only background for this position.
