The Company
We are currently recruiting for a Reporting Analyst/Systems Accountant with a comprehensive knowledge of large reporting tools such as Hyperion / TM1 to join our client initially on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to potentially secure a permanent role upon completion.

The Role and Responsibilities

• Supporting the design, build and implementation of new management reports
• Manage production of periodic executive reporting packs
• Be first contact for all Finance Systems queries
• Development of solutions to improve transaction processes, review and processing of adjustments accruals and prepayments to facilitate timely and accurate reporting of financial information
• Liaising with finance teams to understand and document management reporting requirements
• Providing advice on new system/database changes and how this affects data, reports and reporting systems
• Working as the bridge between IT and finance to solve issues relating to existing and newly released management reports
• Identifying areas of improvement and initiatives for reporting procedures
• Design and develop intuitive and robust dashboards, visualisations and self-service information delivery tools using data extracted from various sources and BI platforms for key stakeholders to assess the financial performance of business units, identify trends and provide insights.

To be considered for this role you will have the following

• Experience with TM1/Cognos/Oracle R12 (essential)
• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce or equivalent practical knowledge
• CPA/CA qualification 
• Proven record of skills and experience in providing a range of strategic business and financial management services in a complex work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relay technical information to colleagues
• Advanced Excel is required
• The ability to develop and implement realistic financial models and effective reporting control mechanisms in response to organisational needs
• Sound knowledge of broad business processes, demonstrated through experience in a similar role.
