Institutional Banking & Markets Finance supports its business units in providing financial control, financial analysis, product control, regulatory accounting and related project implementation for finance related functions.

Post Deal Management actively manages the ongoing processing of operationally complex structured transactions, generated by the Institutional Banking & Markets businesses, to ensure the Bank and the client deliver on transactional obligations.  In this way the team seeks to ensure the Bank achieves its anticipated returns on existing deals and frees up the sales force to focus on new transactions.

Do work that matters

This role is accountable for the management of a portfolio of complex Institutional Banking & Markets transactions from end to end. Effectively delivering all aspects of 'post deal management', engaging and communicating with all stakeholders in a timely manner, maintaining a seamless and efficient client service. As such you will:

• Provide insight to the business and stakeholders on all aspects of complex transactions over their life
• Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the post deal management framework
• Implement and manage the engagement model, monitor performance of key stakeholders, resolve and/or escalate non-performance issues
• Interface with External Clients, ensuring that the Bank and Client perform agreed obligations (
• Manage the accurate recording of deals in product systems, and check to ensure all documentation is maintained on the deal management system
• Provide information to internal/external auditors, tax and accounting for review or ad hoc projects as required

We’re interested in hearing from people who have the following

• Operational management role in structured finance, structured asset finance or treasury/financial markets with a recognised financial institution
• A good understanding of structured asset finance, corporate finance, and/or financial market products
• Experience in handling issues relating to operational risk, process or business management
• Technical accounting and/or taxation exposure in relation to structured products
• Experience with project management
• Experience in driving change, influencing and reporting to senior levels of management
• CA, CPA Qualification
