About the role
The Cost Recovery Analyst will drive the development and implementation of strategic and operational cost recovery goals, working collaboratively with the CFO and Finance team.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Activity based costing (ABC) system regarding cost recovery
- Costing of new policy proposals
- Analysis of cost recovery impact Statements (CRISs)
- Design & Implementation of Excel based financial reporting & budgeting systems
- QA of deregulation costing models
- Improving financial outcomes for the department.
To be successful in the role you will bring the following skills and experience with you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or Business
- Significant experience in a similar position
- A proven successful track record in cost analysis and recovery
- Demonstrate effective organisational skills to plan and implement a cost recovery system
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to work under pressure to deadlines and to drive successful results
In addition to the above you will be a highly motivated self starter with a positive, pragmatic approach.
