A progressive, growing training organisation located in Sydney, close to the CBD is seeking a Management Accountant to report to the CEO on organisational performance both corporately and at a program level.

Principal Responsibilities
Forecasting and Budgeting
- Work with senior leadership and business unit heads to produce forecasts and budgets, as well as providing them with detailed analysis on previous results.
- Develop and oversee the forecast and reforecast cycle.
- Prepare and advise on cash flow forecasts.
Reporting
- Provide performance data, analysis and insights where required.
- Prepare budget vs actual reporting.
- Prepare and distribute P&L reports to the various business units, providing insights and recommendations against agreed targets.
- Ensure that financial accounts and reports provide the essential elements of transparency and accountability.
Selection Criteria
- Minimum 4 years experience
- High-level numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using MYOB is essential
- Proven ability to communicate, both oral and in writing, in a clear and concise manner
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems
- Proven experience in costing, budgeting and forecasting
- Proven experience with performance analysis and reporting
- Degree qualified preferred
- Experience in an education/training organisation preferred.
